BEST shareholders and bondholders now have a new channel enabling them to communicate with the company - BEST Investor Profile has been launched at www.best.com.pl. Registered users may notify the Company on the kind of information they expect to receive. By issuing opinions on measures connected to investor relations, they can also influence their future shape.
"As a company with a long presence on the stock exchange and as an active issuer of bonds, of which most are listed on Catalyst, we continue to expand our activities in the scope of investor relations. We are committed to achieve the highest market standards, both in terms of the scope and the quality of the information we supply as well as in order to offer various communication tools. At the same time, we place special emphasis on developing our relations with individual investors. This is a very important group of investors for us, both in the context of the public bond issue programme which we are conducting, and the liquidity of our shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange", said Krzysztof Borusowski, CEO of BEST. "Our new communication tool, i.e. BEST Investor Profile, is primarily dedicated to this group of investors. We hope that it will enable us to learn more about our investors' expectations and adjust our actions accordingly," added the CEO.
BEST Investor Profile is a simple web-based template, available on the website www.best.com.pl, which investors can use to supply their contact details to the Company as well as, optionally, additional details, including the type of information they would like to receive. It is enough to register in the service to receive all key information directly to one's e-mail address.
"BEST Investor Profile may be used as a standard newsletter; however, in contrast to many similar tools this is a totally personalised solution. Here, the investors decide whether they want to receive all available information about BEST shares and bonds, and the company itself, or whether they are interested only in 'alerts' for selected bond series, for instance ones with an approaching deadline for determining the right to coupon payments," says Aleksandra Murawska, Communications Manager in BEST.
When creating BEST Investor Profile, the company also took into account the fact that when trading in securities, investors may acquire and sell bonds or shares at the same time; therefore, their preferences regarding the scope of information which they would like to receive may change too. This is why, BEST Investor Profile users can edit data they have entered easily and at any moment. As a result, investors can avoid a situation where they would receive unwanted or unnecessary information, i.e. spam.
"We also encourage investors to share additional information with us, for instance on whether they invest in BEST on a short-term or long-term horizon. We are keen to find out their opinions and expectations. This will enable us to develop our new tool and other activities connected to investor relations as well as adjust them to our investors' requirements. Obviously, additional data is provided voluntarily," adds Aleksandra Murawska.
To create one's own BEST Investor Profile, all one needs to do is to access: www.best.com.pl. The form is available in the section "For Investors".
Recently, BEST has also launched its Twitter profile (@BEST_Grupa). The company has also undertaken a range of measures in order to increase the availability of shares to investors, and among other things, it has entered into an agreement with the Market Maker of the Issuer (the brokerage house of BOŚ S.A. acts in this capacity) and has joined the Liquidity Support Programme. As a result, since May 2015, BEST shares have been traded in the continuous trading system. The stock split in 1 to 4 proportion will be finalised soon.
