In the first quarter of 2026, repayments from the claim portfolios held by BEST Group reached PLN 220 million, representing an 85% increase year-on-year. During the same three-month period, BEST Capital Group invested PLN 86.4 million in new claim portfolios with a total nominal value of PLN 349.8 million. This investment volume was more than double that of the corresponding period in 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 Following last year\u2019s completion of the merger and operational integration with Kredyt Inkaso, BEST Group entered 2026 as a fully integrated international organisation with a strong appetite for growth across all our active markets: Poland, Italy, Romania, and Bulgaria. In the first quarter, recoveries from the claim portfolios we manage reached PLN 220 million, 18% of which was generated from international markets. Our ambition is for annual recoveries to reach PLN 1 billion this year, and we are well on track to achieving this goa<\/em>l, comments Krzysztof Borusowski, President of BEST S.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2013 At the same time, we are continuing to invest in new claim portfolios, remaining an active purchaser in all four markets where we operate. In the first quarter, our total expenditure exceeded PLN 86 million \u2013 more than double the figure from a year ago \u2013 with approximately 42% of that capital deployed outside Poland. This demonstrates the increasingly international nature of BEST Capital Group<\/em>, notes Marek Kucner, Vice-President of BEST S.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n BEST finances new investments through generated profits as well as bond issues. In Q1 of this year, BEST conducted its first public bond offering worth over PLN 134 million and is planning further issues aimed at both qualified and retail investors.
