The WSE-listed claim management company achieved PLN 112 million in repayments from its claims in the past quarter. This is the highest result in the history of BEST Capital Group, exceeding the amount of recoveries from its own portfolios achieved in the 1st quarter of 2023 by 23%.

– The record-high repayments from the Group’s claim portfolios are attributable, among other things, to the growing efficiency of our organisation and a record level of investments in the purchase of claims in 2023 . Last year, partly owing to the allocation of PLN 311 million for the purchase of new portfolios, the nominal value of estimated remaining collations from claims held (ERC) increased by nearly a quarter and exceeded PLN 3 billion. Our methodical, efficient management of the enlarged portfolio will translate into continued growth in recoveries in the quarters ahead– comments Krzysztof Borusowski, President of the Management Board of BEST S.A.

In the first quarter of this year, the Group invested PLN 53 million in the purchase of claim portfolios with a nominal value of PLN 265.9 million. Throughout the year, the Company aims to maintain its investments at a level similar to last year’s record results. – We are active both at home and in Italy. Expanding our operations on the Apennine Peninsula is one of our priorities this year. With a strong balance sheet and increasing repayments from the serviced claims, we are clearly seeing a positive impact on our buying potential, which we plan to gradually feed into the growing scale of the business – says Marek Kucner.
